Hair Straightener

Most women love how the hair looks when it is flat ironed, but many do not have a clue about actually flat ironing their own hair.  Well, you are in luck because the following are some of our best ceramic hair straightener using tips.  Before you start however, it is important to note that before putting the flat iron in your hair, all of your hair should be thoroughly dry.

Step 1   While you hair is damp, apply a moisturizer or styling cream to it from the middle of this strands all the way to the tips.

Step 2   Use some kind of heat protective spray to coat the strands of hair and prevent them from being overexposed to the heat.

Step 3   Separate the hair into as many sections as necessary so it can be blow-dried and done properly.

Step 4 Then, divide hair into one or two inch sections which you will then clamp the flat iron down onto as close to your scalp as possible without burning yourself.

Step 5   With the hair clamped in the flat iron, slowly pull down on the hair until you reach to the tip.  Just bear in mind that you should be selecting the right temperature for the iron that will work well with your type of hair.

Step 6   After all the sections have been straightened, you can rub some kind of sheen or gloss onto your hair to keep it smooth and prevent static from building up.

One recommendation for people who want to flat iron hair would be to get ceramic flat irons.  Those irons heat much more evenly and they are better at defusing heat so you do not expose your hair to more damage than necessary.  Most manufacturers today only put out ceramic plated flat irons so you should not have a hard time identifying one.
