Mold Safety Lift Ring

The Mold Safety Lift Ring allows easy, safe and convienient one man, loading, and movement of molds weighing less than 4,000 lbs. The lift ring attahces to the top of the mold using a screw in a tapped handling hole. The ring allows a fork truck operator to drive up and place a single fork thru the ring opening.

When the fork truck lifts the mold, cams in the side of the lift ring place clamping force on the sides of the fork, safely keeping the load from sliding off the fork while driving or stopping. Some care, must of course, be used when lifting or transporting heavy load. When using a single fork to lift a load, the fork should be placed near the center of the carriage for safe lifting and to avoid damaging the fork truck. Never lift any load over a person, and don’t attempt to lift loads greater than the rated capacity of the equipment in use.

We use these rings in our shop to help move large fixtures, vises, rotary table and of course molds and mold plates. Multiple rings can be left in place when tools are stored and used to transport and place them in trucks or on machines. I believe you will be pleased with the ease of lifting and moving tools with our lift ring, and after you have your first ring you will want more.

Mold Safety Lift Rings are available for 4-inch and 5-inch fork truck forks. Measure the width of your fork to determine your size. Each ring includes three screws to attache the ring to your load, one of each size 1/2-13, 5/8-11 and 3/4-10. The Safety Lift Ring is 100% American made using quality 4130 steel castings and 4140 steel round stock. Heat-treated to add strength and durability, each ring is pull tested for 15,000 pounds prior to shipping.
